Mobile Studios

It was really a pleasing sight; looking at photographs being printed. In the time of smartphones, a mobile studio in Kumbh, may take you by surprise but it was there. Many photographers with compact digital cameras roamed carrying a portable printer. They suggested pilgrims possible gestures for camera, rushed few yards where printer was sitting and got the prints before their subject walked after taking a bath at Sangam. They put the prints in transparent sleeves so that it was not spoiled if their customers were still wet.
And, there were times when they rushed back for a retake as the photograph was not as desired or it was blurred when the person offering prayers to sun came forward. Sort of fun, as well!!
